Seeds may seem small, quiet, and uninteresting however, I think of them as a symbol of nature’s tenacity for life!

As a child I’d walk beneath the Redwood Forest of northern California and constantly ask myself “how was it possible for such and huge and majestic plant to come from a tiny seed?”

​

Since then, I’ve gained respect for natures seeds, constantly intrigued by how they’ve evolved over time, how they carry within their protective shell an embryo of living cells ready to form roots, stems, leaves, and a full set of instructions on how to grow, protect itself and reproduce the next generation.
