About the Event
Arroyo Hondo is truly an amazing place and is one of my favorite hikes - lots to explore!
This private tour offers a variety of habitats, unique plant and animal communities and a natural watershed. Arroyo Hondo’s watershed is home to thousands of plants and animal species including several threatened or endangered such as: the Sonora Maiden Ferns, the Red Legged Frog, California Newt, Western Pacific Pond Turtle, and the Southern California Steelhead.

$45 per person (percentage of the fee will be donated to the preserve)
Approximately 3-mile hike through moderate elevations, most of which are along cool, shaded paths through the California bay, sycamore, and ancient oak trees.
Arroyo Hondo Preserve is located twenty minutes west of Santa Barbara between Refugio State Beach and Gaviota State Park.
