About the Event

Special Guest Speaker - (photos by Don)

Don Klabunde is a retired Physicist, lifelong nature photographer, and chapter photographer for the Conejo Valley Audubon Society.  He’s a research volunteer for the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology, his interests include nature and astrophotography, animal behavior and evolution, California native gardening and observing the local wildlife.  For the past few years Don has been studying the behavior and reproductive success of species that live along the Arroyo Simi.

Laura Pasetta Owner of Wild Rootz & CA naturalist will demonstrate the best choices of backyard birdfeeders and bird identification books,  along with how you can help support our regional wildlife.
