The extreme heat of late summer and early fall has thankfully passed, and the days are quickly becoming shorter and chillier. 

 

As a native Californian and photographer, I have a deep appreciation for our Autumn; it's colorful play on the softening of the light, the creative way native goes into dormancy, and the fantastic weather, all of which reminds  me how extraordinarily fantastic it is to live here!
